As a plague spreads through the isolated village you call home, balance your needs as a newly-turned vampire with your duties as a healer.
Leechcraft is interactive fiction with a healthy dose of role-playing, steeped in a dark fantasy world inspired by medieval medicine.

This acts as the first part of a larger game, one I hope to fully realize someday.
Leechcraft and its companion book Leechcraft: Tales from the Village were made from January to May 2024 as my spring semester thesis projects. These projects are the conclusion of my BFA in Game Design and Illustration from MICA and wouldn't have been possible without the support of my professors and peers.

Oh man, that was lovely. It's always such a fun idea to throw in a healer and questionable decisions when it comes to stories like these. The struggle and thinking one must do in-order to survive and try to be a better person--or just go wild and do whatever you want. I enjoyed that a lot. I hope and pray that this will get continued someday but honestly, I am just glad I was able to enjoy what few I could. ♥ That was a fun read!

Oh, this is a lovely lil' text adventure. Enjoyed my time with it immensely! You managed to bring across the athmosphere so very well with only text and font design, very inspiring. And a rather unique take on Vampirism, too - what's not to love?

I love how the story is built up and how the villagers react to certain things. I cant wait to see how the story will continue. Though if i may add, a saving or loading screen would be very neat, especially if you plan to make the game longer ;)
